Salon owner Ian has over fifty years experience in the hairdressing industry and opened Brush Strokes in 1986. Since then, the business has grown into the thriving, popular salon it is today.
The current team are well established, hard working, and have an incredible mix of skill sets within the industry enabling them to cater to a wide range of clients.

Recently, Ian has reduced his working time in the salon, allowing the current stylists greater freedom to continue to grow the business.
Despite a reduction in hours, Ian still very much enjoys his hairdressing and is interested to see the new developments the staff are making.
With over 35 years in the hair industry, Gary is one of our top stylists and our chief educator.
Working and training with multiple brands, including Wella, Schwarzkopf, Joico, Crazy Colour and Alfaparf, over the years he has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Specialising in colour and cutting, Gary loves working his magic on all hair types.
As an established member of the Brush Strokes team, Claire has 30 years experience and is another of our top stylists.
Whether it is cutting, colouring, perming or styling, Claire is the go-to professional with a long waiting list of clients.
As our in-house bridal and hair-up specialist Claire has trained with the world-renowned long hair expert Patrick Cameron and is more than happy to consult on anything glam.
Introducing the newest member of our team, Jasmine.
Jas joined us 4 years ago as a Saturday assistant, and has blossomed into our in-house trained Junior Stylist, offering exceptional value for money services.
Always eager to learn and create, Jas absolutely loves all things colour as can be seen by a quick scroll through our Instagram page.
Jas is always more than happy to chat, and can often be found front of house putting new and regular clients at ease with her infectious, welcoming personality.
